Mar. 3rd, 2006 08:27 amStomach is STILL nutty...ah well..I've got "Tums Cool Relief" that I had at home and never used (I prefer the smooth dissolve), so that is now my buddy at work.
Of course, I have my Coke Zero next to it...tip, NEVER take those two at the same time.
So, more early bed tonite..go figure. Still, at least I have class tomorrow...so, yeah, should go over the paper once again, and finish my writer's statement.
Anyway...Top 5...Top 5...
Top 5 Comic Strips - Now, this can be anything..online, Paper (what's that? ;-P), or whatever...
1. Something Positive - http://www.somethingpositive.net/
This is the one that makes me want to read comics and check in everyday. Bitter satire, but also incredibly human. This one feels close to some of my friends from a long time ago.
2. Sluggy Freelance - http://www.sluggy.com/
One of first online strips I ever read...follows 2 guys, a talking bunny, an alien, and several others (Including Zoe) through many insane adventures...I hadn't read it in a long time, and just caught up on it, and must say, I'm not sure I like the current story that much, but it is almost always a neat read.
3. Evil, Inc. - http://www.evil-comic.com/index.html
Supervillain running a corporation...lots of gags at Marvel and DC comics (though, I think it's more aimed at MarveL), they have fun, and it's almost like the Incredibles mixed in. Cute and fun.
4. It's Walky - Now defunct - http://www.itswalky.com/
It's Walky was basically Roomies (college roomies) which went government superspy agency...I'm not sure how to describe it better than that..if anyone wants to take a try, by all means.
5. User Friendly - http://www.userfriendly.org/
The goings on at an ISP (I think..it's been a while since I read it regularly). When I first saw this, it was while working at an ISP, and the interaction between support and end users seemed accurate...much like my current environment most resembles "Dilbert".
Anyways..there are more, of course..Spiderfans, Least I Could Do, Doonesbury...Bloom County should go there somewhere...

Date: 2006-03-03 08:33 pm (UTC)Man, used to read Better or Worse..for a long time. A gift to my sister, when she was pregnant, was the book that covered the pregnancy...and I was one of the ones who read when the dog died... :-(
Don't know Curtis..
Check any of the ones I mentioned above out...I'd recommend reading them from the beginning.
