For those who didn't know...
Mar. 24th, 2006 01:25 pmThat "Simpsons" live action intro that was going around the web? It's going to be the intro to the episode this Sunday...:-) I'll watch it..from what I heard, it's the full intro, so should be fun.
Sunday is also the season finale for "L Word", so I'm eagerly awaiting that one...
Conversation over my shoulder? Emulators, for the old Nintendo, Sega and all the other games systems..
Makes me miss my Super Nintendo...yeah, emulators are fun, but there's something about popping in the Carts, and playing them on your TV...of course, I have a bigger TV now than I used to play those on...
But, that makes me realize my SNES is dead...and, I haven't made a real effort to find another..something about money, and that being an extravagance. :-P
But, eventually, I'll have one, and be playing the old games I loved...Final Fantasy 6 (which I think I can actually play on Playstation now), Super Metroid, Zelda...Super Mario World...:-P A whole bunch that I feel the need to play recently.
So, if anyone knows where I can get a SNES cheap, cheap, cheap...lemme know.

I've been trying to talk myself out of buying it... but the games
from that era were such innocent fun...

Grab one of the many gamepads that have the same button layout as the SNES controllers and put that emulator to use. :p Provided your TV and video card have the appropriate connections and are close enough for the sound to reach your ears (the cable routes the video signal only), your total cost will be less than $20.
