Good Day...

per_soloGot down my Sister's place, had a good lunch (Meatballs and Weinies in BBQ sauce), Coke Zero, some of a cheeseball (NEED to be wary of those), and some great time with family...
Watched the South Park episode, and wow...but, at least they can keep "Chef" in it, to a degree now. :-P Then part of "Mind of Mencia"..
The haul..cash, some of which is to be used to buy something I want, but a majority to be used for bills...happy happy. Fat White Vampire Blues and Bride of the Fat White Vampire (Books that had been on my wishlist since Echo had recommended it a long time ago), and Serenity on DVD...
Then, hung out more, talked Jobs, School, all that fun stuff..the fact that the house next to my sister is up for sale. :-P Finally, rounded out the afternoon by teaching my sister and the kids how to play Dino Hunt, which I'd gotten them for X-mas, and they just now got around to being able to play...they had fun.
Many wishes from friends for a happy birthday, which was great.
Hope you all had a great day, too. Now, to work on my paper thesis a little, hook up Mom and Dad's computer and start backing it up for reformat...and, probably put some Dead Like Me in later...though, I DO need to watch Simpsons tonite.

Date: 2006-03-27 03:09 am (UTC)came home and chilled a bit. sylvia(my brother's friend) came over and since she offered to share her salad i offered to make my concotion and share it with her. even learned some short cuts in the chopping process and few suggestions to make the dish better. it was nice. we sat and ate and chatted. it was nice and relaxing and exactly what i needed after the day i had. whoever thought that kind of statement would include my brother in it.
had some nice wine too. glad to hear the bday was good. it's the one day of the year that should be.
sigh....i need a tivo

sarah shai(carmen)cracking jokes. heard the promo like six or seven times never realized it was her. would check it out but for two tihngs 1)that's during house and 2)i was hurt by the horrible show they gave seth green.
