Ok, I'm coming to visit you (hypothetically speaking).
Where do we...
Eat breakfast?
Lunch?
Dinner?
Go for ice cream?
Is there a regional treat/specialty I MUST sample?
Go shopping?
What souvenier MUST I buy to remember my trip by?
What should I buy if money is no object?
What sites MUST I see before I go?
What MUST I take picture(s) of before I leave?

Date: 2006-03-30 06:59 pm (UTC)Liberty Diner(greek food and a 8 ft statue of liberty what more can you ask?)
Casa's
Ice cream? there is an original Zestos, kinda fun.
To hell with Ice cream we are going to Mad Anthony Brewery and Sutek Winery!
Then before we open those we will go to Hyde Brothers books and the Museum of Art, see a show at the Embassy.
Souvenir: Small bust of Lincoln from the Lincoln museum. (the only remote reference of Lincoln and Fort Wayne is the Lincoln financial company that has since relocated)
If money where no object you could probably buy the whole Lincoln Financial building that the museum is in.
You would have to see the Johnny Appleseed homesite/trees, and maybe you would be less interested but there is also the original Vera Bradley factory/outlet(why a person would want to walk around with quilted bags, their grandma might carry, beats me).
OOOOOh, Dont forget you want to visit the 2ND largest genealogy library, (damn Mormons have dibs on No. 1)

If money were no object, there are some fantastic brass sculptures in the $10K range. This place loves "money is no object."
Sites to see: The Tramway, Petroglyph National Monument, Quarai India Ruins.
Pictures: The Sandia Mountains at sunset, when they're pink.
