per_soloSo, came home from meeting, and have been working on Mom and Dad's computer since. :-) Now installing the MS Updates on it, putting most of their documents back, and giving them the disc with the backup data on it, just to be safe.
Have had "Dead Like Me" playing background...hadn't really watched it since it was on the air...
DESPISE MS updates, but they are a necessary evil...seems to be stuck on one update..am wanting to finish this yet tonite, then take the computer to Mom and Dad tomorrow...
Think I motivated people at the meeting...to give some cash for a new "advertising" opportunity, inspired by ps238principal...wooden nickels...put out at bookstores, other conventions, that kind of thing. Still skipped the actual Club meeting, as I'm still not a member. :-P Yes, a few people will debate that point, but I did resign...and, just because the convention has a really good chance now, that doesn't change the problems the club has...
Still, kinda surprised to see a few new faces there that have been there for a little bit..
Oh, and talked to lcowper about the PtI event we need to have going at Gencon...amazing, I'm finding more people actually are in agreement with me..which means the next step is to move yet another step up the ladder...ah well, it'll all work out.
