So, major storms went through the area...Confusedjew noted some of her happenings during them..

Went to bed about Midnight, woke up at 6:30, with my brain shrieking that it was 5:30...Drove into work, heard about the chaos downtown with lights out, a bank's windows having been blown out, and just some chaotic stuff, so went a slightly longer path to get to work, just to avoid downtown..

And now am at work...stomach? Eh, it feels ok, but oh well...

Calls are coming in...need to send a few e-mails to people on convention related stuff...and marvel at the programming head's insanity and devotion..he's putting in a LOT of work, and he doesn't expect whoever follows him next year to continue the standard he is setting this year..not sure there is a lot to be done about that, but they'll figure it out. I will say, with what he is doing, and the reduced space the con has to work with this year, I think he's doing amazingly.

So, anyone have anything interesting going on this wonderful Monday morning? I've already sent a few e-mails to varied people, checking in after the storms...wonderful tradition. :-)

Hey on the whole programming standpoint - If the convention is a rousing success... how can you argue with success. This is a real grassroots ordeal this year, am hoping to make a lot of fundimental changes to convention business - that will benefit the club and convention together. I can't wait to see how this will turn out.

Oh, did not get an email from you seeing if we were okay. We are and thanks for asking. (heheheh).

I'm hoping for at least the next year after this one, programming will maintain a high standard..somethign about the driving force of the con being the same. :-) It'll shake out, eventually.

Didn't know your area had been prompted with a Tornado T/D..else I would have e-mailed...glad to hear all is well..I know for me, it was weird hearing the roof creak as loudly as it did.

Hope your week is going well..and, couple days late..better late than never, no?
