Mar. 22nd, 2006 08:03 amShoulder? Achy...just the back of the shoulder, ah well, could be worse.
Brain? Still achy. :-) Have been pointed at training again, training people on software and computer use, so dunno if that's a good option or not, but still, would be more interacting with people and helping than I'm doing, so it's worth investigating in my copious free time.
And, on with the day...
Current 5...Current 5...what to do with the current 5..
Ok...first five instrumental movie scores that come to my mind as ones I've really enjoyed.
1. Star Wars, in particular, The Asteroid Field, from Empire Strikes Back, but overall, the soundtrack for the first 3 was great.
2. The Indiana Jones Suite...the main theme, but again, most of the music from this is great.
3. Poltergeist...still creeps me to this day, and is one of the things I hold up as a great movie that was enhanced by its score.
4. The Lord of the Rings...all three mesh together to make a great score that when you listen, just makes you go "WOW"
5. Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan. Particularly, the last several tracks....I don't think there's ANYONE I could spoil this movie for, but I'm not gonna take that chance..pretty much from the scene where Spock looks up from the science console, and starts moving. :-)
Honorable Mentions? Dark City, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Dark Crystal, The Mexican, Hook.
Have a good day.
