Ok...so, not enough time passed for me to get nudged here, but enough time passed that I was asked "What the hell?". Thanks for the prod.

Partial burnout...on the web, journals, posting, all that crap.

School? Ongoing...I have to wait til July, then submit for a Professional Judgement, as I have no job, so can contribute nothing to school, except work stuff...need to get with Bear to snag a few books he and the pixie found.

Job? Black hole, again, but that's actually not worrying me just yet. Not sure I trust the temp agency/recruiting house that placed me..of course, that could just be rampant paranoia...or not, since I know they lied to me before.

Home? Still mine, for a while. A little cleaner (GOd it needs more work), but, still the same.

Convention? Still maintaining a bit of distance, and only had one request that I do any programming on Sunday (a Noon panel til 1:00), so I think that can fit into the schedule for a Birthday that day. As I was the one who suggested that panel, I'm the one who was asked to head it up, but it should be fun.."Brush with Celebrity", where people come and talk about the various "stars" they have met..share stories, that kind of thing.

Computer? Video Card is dying..no clue on what I'm going to do yet when it finally toasts. This, in addition to the blurry monitor.

Not chicken littling, not yet..however, that almost scares me that the big breakdown is around the corner, hence the wanting to pull back from things a bit.

Thanks to those who gave me icons and ideas for Vegas Icons...will see what sounds good next. Or will troll for more images later..so far, I like the ones I've got.

Sunday is Easter, let me see about Family first...completely forgot. Worst Case? Get directions, as I'll be coming from south...

I know Bear was able to get a campus job for a while, and that might be a big help when all this goes down. Maybe he can give you more advice.

He and I are actually doing lunch at a place called "Nothing but Noodles" tomorrow..information will be passed back and forth. :-)

Wow. That place is a total caloric disaster. A single bowl of pasta is worse than a 1/3-lb bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. See my diet filter post about it.

But, hey, I'm sure that won't hurt the conversation :). Have a good time.

Hmmm...Must look into their lite stuff...or tell myself it's ok to splurge on this one...

Will admit, some of the Italian looked REALLY good to me.

Oh, it tastes fantastic. It's just that I think they inject fat directly into the noodles and salad leaves.

Here's their nutrition sheet. Keep in mind that you have to double all the fitures, since it's TWO servings per bowl.

*nod* No, I understand that well. :-) After having gone through similar fighting, I think we both could be enraged at such..I'll either take the hit, or take half of it home or something..not sure how some noodles reheat..

Taking half of it home is the right spirit. I'm sure it'll reheat fine. I've never had noodles reheat badly.
