Ok, so I'm doing better today than I have for a week.

Last Tuesday, caught the Flu that is going around...right before they said "Oh, it's making things bad". That knocked me down last week, and the weekend.

Then, today, I'm great..I go into work...one minor problem. My voice is shot. I can talk, if I put quite a bit of effort into my voice...otherwise, I sound like Peter Brady if he were not only going through puberty, but also losing his voice at the same time. THAT sucks too.

And, did I mention I'm in a support position? Which means answering the phone to try to help people...well, that makes this more fun. I've had a LOT of people welcome me back..I've had a few who worried about my voice, and one who wondered if I should still be at home. :-) I can understand that...I wouldn't have minded another day at home, just to sleep a little more, and not feel that "fever sleep" that I had last week...but, I do like my job, and figured I should at least try to come in this week...this is the last whole week before things get a little crazy around here for a bit.

Ah well....

Good grief. You ARE disease-prone. Then again, last time bad flu hit Indy, it hit me like a ton of bricks. And I have this vague memory of you, years ago, finding me in my apartment with a temp of 103 and taking me to the doctor.... :) So I'm hardly the immune-system queen. I did get a flu shot this year, and I think it was a VERY GOOD thing to do. Look into it next year. Your medical insurance should subsidize it.

Take care. I know how bad the flu suck.
