per_soloAnd, shortly after that, the Motherboard died. I had been smart enough to transfer the data I HAD to save across to my spare drive.
And just checked it, and nothing there. WTF..and, after much double checking, no, somehow the stuff I transferred (and VERIFIED) is no longer there. This includes my bookmarks, my saved mail...everything.
I'm a bit tired of the computer problems...and should have assumed after the dead Video Card that the M/B was next..
So, now I'm limping along...with an old Gateway.
Never mind the screaming you hear in the background.
