Copperfield...

per_soloToday, was thinking of David Copperfield..seeing him in Vegas..being a part of one of his illusions. :-)
Went to search to see if the illusion had been "outed", and can't find it..
Basically, he pulled twelve of us onto a stage, we were put in a box, waving flashlights...the curtain went up, and we reappeared in the back of the auditorium. :-P
I was there, I saw how it was done, and I'm STILL amazed at how it looked...
For participating, we all got an autographed picture of him, and a moment where he came to talk to us about not revealing it (No, I'm not revealing it..was just searching to see if anyone had).
They talked about how we all were a part of it, that they'd spent two years figuring out how to do that, and it was up to us how long it stayed a part of the act..considering that, once the secret got out, they'd mothball the whole trick.
If any of you get a chance to see him perform? I'd recommend it...I think I said at the time his show was a bit more like the "David Copperfield Comedy Show", but he was having fun.
The "verbal non-disclosure" agreement wasn't necessary for me...having followed him for years (and having wanted to emulate him), there is no way I'll give it away, unless it's already out there.
As for him? DAMN...quick handshake, but it's rare to see someone who has an aura that just emanates from him...VERY intense...
So yeah, memory for today.
Other news? Got called today, am being submitted for two jobs. Whoot!
