Aug. 7th, 2003 08:55 amNothing much today. Burned out my anger yesterday (Another piece that I've gotten better at, letting something that is bothering me do a quick flash so it's gone)...and, today, am just working away..."Working, Slaving, every day..". Hmm...
Transferred one computer to a user at work, and am getting ready to do another...also, waiting for Xerox to come out and replace a consumable on our Big Color Printer...printer apparently was down/not printing for a day or so before someone came to IS. And, still need to go to the bank to get a backup tape today at some point...
Also, had a friend loan me a BUNCH of Moxy Fruvous CDs...so, I think I'm down with Moxy Goodness for a little while...last night was cool...got to go down and hang out with friends...we ended up watching part of Con Air, and MST3K'ing it...which made us decide that at SOME point, when we all have copious free time, we should watch a few movies with the sound turned down, and MST them. :-)
I have some of the coolest friends...
Uh...what else...this Saturday, I'm supposed to head to a High School Reunion that wasn't...for the class of '93 (My sister's class). I was invited as I tried to help them put the actual reunion on..or figure out how to do it inexpensively..I can be the KING of Inexpensive when I have to. Well, because the reunion would have to be at the American Legion building in Franklin, the "High Society" types of that class said they weren't going to go...not unless it was held at the Valle Vista country club. So, they didn't pay, there was no money in the Treasury for that class, and they couldn't get the caterer. The girl who was trying to organize (who has a fun, busy life of her own, and shouldn't have to worry about stupid crap like this) kinda went nuts as she could no longer afford it, and cancelled it due to lack of interest. Instead, that class is having an impromptu gathering at a local "pub" or "bar". I'm not quite sure what it actually qualifies as. And, yours truly was invited..it'll be cool to hang out with 4 or 5 people I actually know from that class..and, it'll be interesting to see my sister in a bar.
I'm actually looking foward to it...
