Went down to Mom and Dad's for a bit today, saw my sister, niece and nephew...dropped some totes and boxes off to store there until all this Apt. crap gets sorted...
Saw that one bedrooms here are now being advertised at 449...hmmm...methinks that things are tough for a LOT of people up here..but,what do I know.
Apt. still looks like a tornado hit it...
Applied for many jobs yesterday. Was told Friday that the 15in monitor I had been given can go anywhere, just not back to the giver's house. :-P Have parts to take to Computer Renaissance, in hopes of trading them in for other components...we'll see what they have to say.
Tomorrow..have to check out an Apt. on the south side, follow up on the job opp up here, apply to even more jobs, and...I don't know. Am drawing a big blank.
Am on the outer edge of depression,I think, but the fact that I can notice that..well, I'm not sure if that is good, or bad.
Went to dinner with a bunch of friends on Friday night..that was good. If I hadn't gone, I'd have probably cracked this weekend at some point, but by going (I did hitch a ride over there), I spent more on dinner than I likely should have...the group went to BD's Mongolian BBQ...a place I hadn't been to in a good while, and I love..but, it brought up the "Friends" debate in my head...if you don't know to what I refer, early in its run, the show Friends had a debate amongst the friends about eating at more expensive restaurants and all that. :-P
So, yeah...not a whole lot else going on here.
Am thinking of gifting at least half of my comic collection to my niece and nephew...obviously, the older spiderman stuff, amongst other things..problem being, my nephew would likely adore them, but my niece reads more...so, I give him a bunch of comics, but don't have an equivalent thing to give here...Feh...no idea what I should do there. Maybe just pull out the ones for him and her, and store them at Mom and Dad's where the comics would be in custody of the kids...I dunno.
Oh, and am trying something new for the wart that hasn't gone away on my finger...
