Oct. 25th, 2004 03:53 pmYAY. From an e-mail this morning, I have an unconfirmed "Verbal" agreement for an Author Guest of Honor for my convention..as soon as I have a signed contract, I'll mention the name here.
This is REALLY setting my heart more at ease...everyone has either been booked, or couldn't on that weekend..and I was quickly running out of authors I'd read...not that I'm a light reader, but there aren't many that would have fit well for our convention.
Now, to e-mail Aaron Williams again, and see if he can make it out as our artist...
In short, the convention is shaping up..which is good. NOt having done the Conchair gig before, I'm more than a little scared. *heh*
In other news, I'm fully hooked into Alias...Savidya would term it that I am Alias' bitch...
Much like Ralph Melton, I've gotten hooked on Zuma...Zuma, Sveers...good lord, I'm playing games...and contemplating buying them...what has the world come to.
Oh, and managed to see "Shaun of the Dead"..if you like ZOmbie movies, see this one...I heard Sa refer to it as the "Scream" of Zombie Movies, and that's a fairly close description...I laughed, a lot..will have to make sure that the video room at Incon next year is showing this one. :-P
Mmm...4:00 on a monday...day is almost over, from a work perspective. And, on Friday, go to a Halloween Party...of course, I'm also planning on a bunch of people getting together on Sunday for a movie night...Horror Movies and maybe other movies....Horror Movies? I'd seriously have to consider "Shaun of the Dead", and perhaps a few others..tho, there are a few GORY moments in Shaun...um...Poltergeist is always a classic for me...and with a good surround system, it's creepy as hell. Of course, I COULD let Sa's husband pick a few, but she might kill me for that.
In the other room? Maybe "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", and a few others that have come out recently...of course, then the question is, which room do I show scares in, and which do I show the fun movies in? Hmm...decisions, decisions...
