Well, barring unforseen miracles, the job is mine...or at least, provisionally til I prove myself with it. Elkins has a bit of pull, so I'm actually recommended.

The hours? Sundays through Thursdays, 6pm to 10pm.

(In junior high, my friends and I decided we were going to 'start a band.' Nevermind the fact that the only one of us could play the piano and that was it for musical instruments. We used to record us singing along to Wilson Phillips songs. Somehow I always got voted into the lead singer position >_< )

I refuse to be ashamed of liking the music of any band. I like "Bye Bye Bye" by 'NSync. I like the Killers. I also like a lot of weird/obscure stuff. Nuthin' wrong with a little mainstream pop.

*heh* I have so much I like that my brain says "Um....yeah..." Kelly Clarkson, who actually is getting to be pretty good...I like one or two britney songs...there are others, but none coming to mind. :-)

I like "One More Time" by Brittany. I also like "Intuition" by Jewel. Kelly hasn't totally wowwed me yet, but she's had some stuff I enjoy hearing on the radio -- tho I don't listen to much radio anymore.

Basically, selling theatre/symphony tickets to people. Not telemarketing, they term it telethugging...the pitches are written to be fun, so that it doesn't feel like a telemarket pitch...am curious, but need to improve my cold calling skills...
