Jun. 16th, 2006 11:01 pmI'm a true geek. :-)
Working on video for Thompson, I took a side break, and have been importing the old "John Larroquette Show" into the computer, in order to have it in a much smaller format than the VHS tapes. Screwed up the import last night..well, I didn't screw it up as much as the DVD Burner I had in the Dell didn't work right. So, after putting in the Memorex drive, ALL is well with it now. Next, after that, will be seeing if I can do the same with the old family videos that my sister has been wanting ported to DVD.
So, for the convention this year, I've managed to pick 3 movies...still not sure on the last one..but right now, the list of my 3 for "worst" is..
1. Wes Craven's Deadly Friend
2. Nightmare on Elm Street 5
And...right now, Cube 2...that MIGHT change over to Crow 2. I'm not quite insane enough to subject myself to Crow: Wicked Prayer..not after everyone I know who has seen even part of it has been screaming in agony.
Then again, part of Rob's rationale has always been that we put in movies that we kinda dig, but when viewed from the outside, they are still bad. In that vein I should probably do Crow: Salvation...for the record, in the past, Rob and Jeff have done "Tron" and "The Black Hole". Some years I follow that, and others I just say "Screw it" and find the really bad ones (Like Dungeons and Dragons).
Need to thank Kack...her donation of "Quest for the Egg Salad" is going to go very well as one of the prizes. :-P
