First day back to work.

Am AMAZINGLY tired. Hella lot of information crammed into my head in a short period of time. Still, I can do this.

I find it amazingly...quixotic? Is that the proper word? Eh, go for the easy one...Ironic that Anthem is within my view out the window of the cube I'm in for now. Really? That's probably a good thing right now. There was a lesson I should have grabbed there. The reminder is good.

Ate at City Market with several of the techs, and was made to feel welcome. That right there is kind of amazing. Ate as..Chez Olivia? Or some such...good sandwich shop that my trainer recommended. Me? I'd have been happy with Enzo's (think that's it) Pizza...which is what used to be Luca Pizza, for many who grew up in Central Indy.

Tomorrow? Work all day, then go to the north side and see Clerks II. Will post a review tomorrow night, behind a cut, so it can be spoiler. This weekend? I have no idea. Am actually scared that I'm missing something I set up a month or two ago, but will just ride and see what it is. No reminders are popping up.

Though, I will say, to any and all travelers who are coming to this state, have safe trips.

Hmmm...I may have to remind myself what Quixotic REALLY means in the future.

quix·ot·ic Audio pronunciation of "quixotic" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (kwk-stk) also quix·ot·i·cal (--kl)
adj.

1. Caught up in the romance of noble deeds and the pursuit of unreachable goals; idealistic without regard to practicality.
2. Capricious; impulsive: “At worst his scruples must have been quixotic, not malicious” (Louis Auchincloss).

Mobobocita, feel free to add that to your list of words. :-)

There's a place over in City Market, although I can't remember the name, which makes the BEST clam chowder this side of Cape Cod. And I say that as a Yankee. It's a little on the expensive side, but well worth it.

Glad it's going well.

*hugs*

I think of Quixote jousting the windmills when I hear "quixotic." I think of heroically delusional. But I never looked it up :).

Or where was Don Quiote set? (I am sure did not get the last name right). Sir, It is so nice to converse with you regarding this recent change of most fortunate events. I know that several folks thought me to be quixotic when dealing with COJ - and they were right, but damn it - if we give it up now, where are the dreamers, the thinkers, the ones who wake up in the time of shadows and see a fluff rabbit nibbling on grass (actually right out side my window it appears).

You inspire me and just wanted you to know it.

Be well,
Tony
