Long, tiring day at work.

Yes, if it weren't work, they'd call it "play". :-P

Also, got off my ass and sent an e-mail to a local movie production who are doing casting in the near future. Upside? More movie credits...downside? They are doing a movie ULTRA cheap...much like the fabled Guerrilla film-making of days gone by. Will keep you all informed as I hear more.

First paycheck came today, and I'm quite happy. Good folks I'm working with, and no real complaints, except the ticketing software, which went down all day today, so we were kinda stuck, missing SLR's and such (Basically, a Service Level..something. I've always heard it as A in Agreement), so who knows what the future will bring on that.

All in all, great day.

Or at least that I what I have found - and remember from my days of IT. Our stuff was like a roller coaster today - up and down.. but not all at the same time. You could work in the telephony switch, but not in the networking configuartion stuff - then you could do both, but could not use the automated provisioning software... then that was working just fine and the billing software started to flip out. All in a day I guess.

Congrats on the first paycheck... hope there are many and larger ones in your immediate future.
