per_soloFirst, a thank you to Mooncat75 for hosting several of us last night. Was low-key, we ended up watching V for Vendetta, which apparently is $12.99 at Wal-Mart. Dinner was Quesadillas, which Moon, being the polite host, waited to take her turn to put together, only to be told after 2 people had done theirs that, since she hadn't seen the movie, she should go next. Everyone else there at the time had seen it.
This movie goes on my "must buy" list, but I STILL really want to get the comic book that it was based on. I remember hearing of some pretty big changes between the two.
Still have to laugh at myself that one of my biggest problems was seeing Ben Miles and the hair color he had in it. For those not aware (or who don't remember, or who don't care), Miles played "Patrick" on the BBC series "Coupling", which as many know, is a favorite of mine. So, out of the cast of Coupling, I've now seen him do something else, Jack Davenport is in the Pirates movies (and was in Ultraviolet before it), and...crap. Sarah, I think, is the name of the actress who was on the Teachers show not too long ago. Jeff was in a BBC series called Strange, which I REALLY want to see, but haven't managed to yet.
Rambling, yes, I know.
Anyway, if you think that what is going on with politics right now is criminal, go buy V. Hmm...there's something I can look for this weekend. A Fawkes mask. :-P
