Aug. 6th, 2006 10:37 amOk, so yesterday and today has been a Car Clean session as well.
For years, I've needed to deep clean (Steam) the upholstery in the car. I've had the car since 2001.
Um....YUCK. If anything will help keep me from smoking again, other than the friends who would be disappointed in me, that would be it The pure BLACK of the water in the tank afterward should serve as a good deterrence. 2001 to 2004, so all of you smokers out there? If you want to help yourself quit, I recommend cleaning your car or vehicle, that may damn well help you stay resolved if you want to quit.
Car now smells like a standard anti-allergen (The detergent mom picked out). And, apparently she has one of the top model units. Also, I can now seat four comfortably in the car (if they don't mind wet pants at the moment, though, it did dry rather quickly on the driver side). I only missed one spot that I've noticed so far. The driver's windowrest.
As a treat, I let myself finish the Star Wars Lego game. :-P Now I just need to get a PS2, and wait for the sequel game, which should be out next month sometime. I might go a while longer, can't imagine why.
Now to take a shower, and plot out the rest of the day.
On the puppy side? She managed to destroy two things. One was a cat bed (Argh), the other was the phone cord to my sister's phone. *shakes head* And I can't easily replace the phone cord, as it's run under the carpet, so I'll ask Dad for help when they get back.
