per_soloHrm. I'm reading the news, and getting pissed, but unable to voice my frustration...this is bugging me.
I'm working on a few desktops for work...they're almost done, this is a good thing...I've also almost got a few other things done for work, this is good too...of course, by the time those are ready, new laptops will be in (I hope)...of course, once I get these done, I should finish a desktop for the one user I have left.
Boss is out today, at the circus, with his son...it's 8 after 3:00, and I feel like the day is done...it's quiet at the moment, so that's why I'm able to get several things done...hell, I wish I could clean up my office.
Watched "Kingdom Hospital" on ABC last night...after swearing I'd never watch something new on ABC again...I'm almost ready to do that with Fox...I'm so tired of this seaon of 24 that it isn't even amusing...it feels like they've lost the narrative style that kept the show going through two seasons...of course, it could be that I'm tired of the plotlines with 24...why watch 24 when you can see more outrageous shit on CNN?
The good thing with Kingdom Hospital is that it now has me REALLY wanting to find a way to see the original show "Riget" on which it was based...of course, that show is hard to find. VHS says that it's out of print, there is a "REgion 0" dvd of both the first and second halves of it, but those are both bootlegs, and I have no idea if they would show on my ancient (1999) DVD player.
Thanks to Savidya and her husband, I just finished watching Season 1 of Smallville..pleasant surprise. Well written. And, unfortunately, Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger, so I'll have to eagerly wait Season 2, in order to see what happens next.
Apt. is getting cleaner...of course, by the time I have it REALLY cleaned, it'll be November, when I have to decide if I'm staying or moving elsewhere.
Computer is great. no complaints. After buying an 80G Hard Drive, and relegating the suspicious drive to a backup drive, there are no issues, problems, or anything.
I need to read a few books...read a few that have been loaned to me, and get them back to their owners.
Ok, tired, bored...I warned you this was a rambling post. now it's 3:15...and work ends in an hour and 45. Yay, Woot. Joyous Joyous. :-)
