I'm tired, my stomach is killing me, my head hurts, and I have a lunch meeting with my recruiter today.

The users are in rare form this morning. :-) I believe the helpdesk lead has said before, one of the best comments, there are no asshole users, just "special needs" users.

Gencon is in 2 days. Yay!

Goal for the day is to make it through today without falling, go home, check a few things online, and go to bed at a decent hour. I feel this is an achievable goal. :-P

Started reading "Catcher in the Rye" last night, and dunno how far I'll make it into that book. According to Dad's bookmark, he only made it a few pages in. Of course, no idea if that's a second read, or a first, but eh. I find I don't like the narrative style very much. *shrug* Anyone else read it, or have thoughts on if I should continue or not? Is the book worth it?

UGH! I HATED that book. It was far too "boy" for me. But I seem to remember Dearest liked it very much. It might be worth it to slog through it at least once. It's not like it's the length of War and Peace.

Heh. I totally couldn't get into that book. But my father loved it. And my mother didn't get it. And it seems to be something that speaks strongly to men and not to women. I'm a bit skeptical that men are cosmically that different from women -- most personality traits are on a continuum -- but this book has seemed to prove to me that the teenage male experience is VERY different from the teenage female.

I can't remember what Studentbane thought, though.
