Aug. 17th, 2006 09:13 pmOk. SEVERAL years ago, I got into an interesting comic called "Oz Squad",which culminated in me finally finding issue 4 at Wizard World, in Chicago, several years ago (Please note the difference in time there. :-P).
Apparently, in addition to the book I linked to a little while ago which collects the first 4 issues, and the two "side" issues, they are also going to be updating/relaunching it in the near future.
And now, you can read the issues that were already released online now.

So, if anyone is interested, go check it out. The premise is that Our favorite four from "Wizard of Oz" are government agents. That's the short of it. There was another comic, called "Oz", that dealt with modern characters thrown into the world of Oz. If I recall, however, Oz Squad was the first.
In other news, finally getting my phone replaced after dealing with T-Mobile last night and tonite. Same model, but a phone that will hold a charge for more than 24 hours. Whoot! I feel so accomplished, and that was only one of my minor goals.
And almost didn't realize that tomorrow is FRIDAY! No clue how it got this close, but Casual Friday! :-)

Date: 2006-08-18 03:17 am (UTC)I've still got em, in a box somewhere..and, even more fun, I still have the first two issues, done by a different company. Neat little history behind the printing of that comic.
