Sep. 7th, 2006 01:43 pmOk, so for a hobby, I've had a few people say I should look into Fencing or Boxing.
We'll consider the first more than the second, for obvious reasons.
I know that a few of you out there (Stares at the Perturbed Marsupial, and yes, they're FAST), have experience with fencing, through one group or another.
What kind of cash expense am I looking at in attempting this, and seriously, physicality of it? Anything I should be aware of? Someone mentioned a few things a while ago to me, and my memory still isn't fully back to tip top shape. Here? I have a hard copy.
Thanks. :-)

Date: 2006-09-07 06:38 pm (UTC)1 Credit, start in January, think I can do that.
And then maybe go observe some of the events until then, talk to Koala, or CN, or any of the numerous other people I know who are involved. Course, I think one of them mentioned the SCA.
