Damn Damn.
Mar. 24th, 2004 10:34 amWell, now I wish I had a Multi-Region DVD player.
http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/tg/stores/detail/-/dvd-de/B00005MOL0/tech-info/ref=ed_tec_dp_2_1/028-0069015-5598960
This has what I'm looking for...even tho I can't translate the site (Damn my foreign language skills), I am tech savvy enough to see "Dolby Digital 5.1" and "Widescreen 1.85:1, 16:9" Along with what looks to be some other interesting extras...
And, if I"m reading right still, only $12 something, American. Now, the shipping is probably bad, but for a Widescreen version of this movie, I'd have to heavily consider it..
PLUS I like the cover much better than what we're getting here in the states..
Now, to wait til after Birthday (well, and after other finances roll out) to see if I can afford the nice $75 Multi-Region player I saw on Amazon. :-)

Then again, I've only got 1 DVD player, and I should, in theory, replace it..it's 5 years old now.

Re: Damn Damn.
Date: 2004-03-25 05:50 am (UTC)Yeah, I'm probably going to blow some money on that...now, my question is, is it more elusive than the Holy Grail? And, if I order it, will I be getting just a crappy version that isn't as advertised...here's hoping, as all those extras sound REALLY good.
I think I may go broke. :-P
