Well, now I wish I had a Multi-Region DVD player.

This has what I'm looking for...even tho I can't translate the site (Damn my foreign language skills), I am tech savvy enough to see "Dolby Digital 5.1" and "Widescreen 1.85:1, 16:9" Along with what looks to be some other interesting extras...

And, if I"m reading right still, only $12 something, American. Now, the shipping is probably bad, but for a Widescreen version of this movie, I'd have to heavily consider it..

PLUS I like the cover much better than what we're getting here in the states..

Now, to wait til after Birthday (well, and after other finances roll out) to see if I can afford the nice $75 Multi-Region player I saw on Amazon. :-)

Wow. That is so cool. Ah, well, I'll probably satisfy myself with the American release. Considering that I had a DVD player, hubby had a DVD player, and the PS2 is also a DVD player, the last thing we need is another one :).

Then again, I've only got 1 DVD player, and I should, in theory, replace it..it's 5 years old now.

Yeah, hubby's is that old, and it's starting to have real problems. I didn't know you could just buy region-free DVD players from Amazon? Wasn't the big deal that you weren't supposed to be able to get region-free anymore?

Yup, that is supposed to be the big deal. But, I read reviews on a Phillips DVD player (727) that is listed on my wishlist, and someone mentions in the comments how to do it...

Yeah, I'm probably going to blow some money on that...now, my question is, is it more elusive than the Holy Grail? And, if I order it, will I be getting just a crappy version that isn't as advertised...here's hoping, as all those extras sound REALLY good.
