*HEH* Um, no, this is a friend I've had a bit longer that is a part of an overall group of friends here. Basically, she started seeing a guy a while ago, and apparently just a few weeks ago got engaged. I found out last night when I called to check in with her, and got the "You didn't know? Oh my god, yes, can you be an Usher?" :-)

Wow, that WOULD have been quick for the other pair. ;-P

I tend to like weddings, but it depends on the frame of mind when I got to one. This one I think I'll be fine and happy for, as I'm incredibly happy for this friend.
