The Tipping Point.
Oct. 5th, 2006 10:36 amdoes anyone have my copy of this book? I know I loaned it out to Mobo, and then I think it made the circuit, so I have no clue where it currently is, and am tempted to loan it to Goldstep.
Thanks, day is moving along, not a whole lot else with it, since this feels like a busy weekend.
Friday - Work, then gaming.
Saturday - If I can manage to find the place, help a tangential friend move, then go to the first COJ Meeting I'll have been to since I quit the club. Mainly, to pick up the nice gift package that awaits me, with hopefully some gaming goodness in it.
Sunday - Should do some schoolwork, but the rest of the day is, surprisingly, open.
Today? No clue how the rest of it will go. Lunch is coming up, then home, and I'm tempted to soak all evening trying to help the shoulder. I should finally make the bed, and clean up the room, organize where the school books go and all that.
How is everyone else's day going?

Date: 2006-10-05 04:02 pm (UTC)Even though I should be livid and throwing a fit of jealous angst... I'm good.
Mostly because I have this feeling that something wonderful is going to happen.
Is is weird when like six people say you look different, and assure you it's in a good way? (They've known about my hair cut and my weightloss, so something must be going on with me ^-^)

Date: 2006-10-05 05:06 pm (UTC)*heh* I understand on the second sentence, too.
Fingers are crossed on the something good. It's been such a year for varied people, good things need to start rebounding for everyone.
*nod* It's weird to hear, but it's likely the above mentioned, and your outlook on things (aura, as it were). :-)

Date: 2006-10-06 01:13 am (UTC)temporary avenue apparently didn't like the fact that i had to come in in my blockbuster uniform since i had to work later and therefore have decided NOT to help me. though they didnt' actually tell me that they just aren't answering my calls. do you see why i don't like these places now?

Date: 2006-10-06 01:28 am (UTC)does not matter if you like them or not, I despise such places, but you keep on them, and make them work for you. Though, I do think you nailed it on them, but still call and follow up.
I was told that I needed to treat an interview with a temp agency just as if it were an interview with the company I'd be eventually working for. You can do that. :-)
