Ah, the fun of a Monday.

Victor Garber. Many of you know him from Alias, a few from Titanic. I've never seen "Godspell", but am tempted to, now.

Amazon had a "Why we love.." entry for him, so I'll share it here. Such as, I never knew he was in the movie Exotica (which also starred a young Mia Kirshner, who from what I've seen, can only play one basic character. Come on, disagree with me), so now I may have to look that movie up.

I remember Exotica from somewhere near the same period as I remember Whore, a movie that when I worked at Marsh, their video section had taped over the title on the cover of the movie, kinda doing a "If you're not old enough to know the title, you're not old enough to rent it" type mentality.

Anyways, found this link while updating my Amazon wishlist.

The first time I saw Mia was when she was in the Dracula TV series. (I loved that series btw.) So I have a very difficult time NOT seeing her as Sophie.

She was the niece of VanHelsing or something. There was her and two teenaged boys. (One her age that was supposed to be a love interest and a younger boy.) Anyway, Dracula (who was going by Alexander Lucard) lived in the same town they did. So the whole show was about Helsing and the kids going after Dracula. In one episode, Dracula bit her and she turned into a vampire. So for at least a couple of episodes she was a vampire girl trying to kill the Helsing people and protect Dracula.

She wasn't very emo or slutty or anything...which is pretty much all I know of the characters she's been playing lately. It was very teen drama though.

You don't know Garber!? Man, he's great in Godspell, but that's not his best. He plays Anthony in the Original Cast Recording of Sweeney Todd and John Effin Wilkes Booth in the OCR of Assassins (which also has the gods Terremce Mann and Jonathan Hadary). Absolutely vital stuff.
