I did it, I went and voted. And, out of all my votes, I'm least happy with one, but oh well.

We have become our worst enemy. In an effort to have an easy research free, responsibility light system, we gave up something. That something is the power of a real democracy. We act like it crept up on us, but honestly it happened over 200 years ago. I would bet that Washington wept when he saw it happen, just as we all do whenever we realize we are powerless.
