Whose line at Incon.

per_soloSo, the planning for "Whose Line is it Anyway" is coming along nicely.
For those not in the know, Whose Line is a panel/game we run at Inconjunction...every year for the last several...Echoweaver is the main reason I ended up involved...she "ran" it one year (as much as someone can run an insane Improv game), and I've taken over since...for the last several years, I've been tweaking it, trying to find the right Cast for it, along with the best games we can do...and, this year we're expanding by doing some props, and other games that we don't normally do...
So, tonite was going through the list of games, sending it out to my players, and sending out a request for Hats...as that (rather, the dating show) is high on my list...I'm also planning on finding various props for my players to use in the Props game...I'd love to get some fun props to make them use, a la the show..but, we'll see how it turns out.
Favorites for our group (The audience) tends to be "The Dating Game" and "Superheroes", but last year we got some good response from "Alphabet", "On Location" (Which we used to project a movie..or was that a year before..eh, too much time, too much fun, too many games).
Last year, we were given an hour, and ended up taking an hour and 20 minutes..this year, we asked for an hour and a half, and have ended up with 2 hours...we'll see if we make it through that...the fun part is that we do drink a little through the game..and, well, that makes it get real interesting, real quick..of course, we DO have a disclaimer at the beginning of the show that, since most of us are workers at the Convention, that the show is likely to get REALLY foul, really quick..tho, I think it was Theresa who dropped the first F-Bomb last year...*heh*
The real fun, tho, tends to be the audience..as with any acting on a stage, the reaction of the audience tends to feed your ego, and therefore, your performance...and, since the 5 of us running the show are good friends, it works out even better...
