Attention Tower Junkies.

ANYONE who is a fan of the Dark Tower series (and wow, how I tend to think of the normal occurences of life as Ka in my head), will appreciate this.

The basics? Guy is doing a musical score for each book in the Dark Tower series. And has samples up on his website.

The whole concept sounds like some of what I like best with the KMN soundtracks, but much more focused, and original. Rumor (what they say on the site) is that King himself has been sent a copy of the first soundtrack. And they don't appear to have been hit with a C&D yet.

An original album score, for $10. Based on what I've heard so far from the samples? I like, quite a bit. Will update as I have more info.

So there ya go. Any Tower fans out there? Did you make it through all the books? Drop off after the first one due to it being harder to get through (scoff if you wish, I know a few people who had a REALLY hard time getting through that one)?

Seen the "Cast List" someone put together years ago? :-P

I believe the first issue is in January.

February is what I'd heard. Written by Peter David. It was one of my minor annoyances, as I've really gotten out of comic books, for the most part.

Someone had just posted some of the images of that comic, enough that I was going "DAMN". :-)

Hm. Could be February. I keep seeing it in the Previews catalog and I never know when those issues actually come out. ^_^ It always seems to be like 4 months after I ordered something!

*heh* I haven't looked at a previews in forever. 2 comics I try to keep up with came out yesterday, maybe I should pick one up, just to see what is coming out in several months. Either way, I'm curious on what the DT book will read like.

I thought that previews was a 3 month in the future, but will admit I could well be wrong. :-)
