Jun. 7th, 2004 03:45 pmAh....so little time to update this anymore.
The Fondue night went fabulous...the Caramel was VERY good (once the consistency was right..I mean, it was good beforehand, but stuck better after), the Cheese was great, the Meat was also VERY good...I ate lots of little pieces of beef and chicken that evening...
This weekend was VERY busy...Sa already mentioned most of it...first, on Friday, Sa, her husband, Mooncat, and myself went to Rush. I'd never been to a rush concert before..it was a lot of fun. We had lawn seats, and so we just picked the exact center of the lawn seats...well, about midway through the concert, we had to move...first, there was a LOT of pot out there..now, I've never done pot..never felt a need...well, I was "semi" high from the concert..I'm sure second hand "contact" high from MJ isn't the same...in which case, I don't need to know.
The concert was good...I'd not ever really gotten into Rush before, because of friends of mine growing up...suffice to say, they LOVED it, and they weren't exactly the people I'd take opinions from. The stage show was good, too...animated Dragons, and skeletons, and stuff I'm sure the High People adored.
Saturday was a cookout at Desidera's....which was cool, as Echo was able to be in town, and Mooncat and Savidya were there...and lots of people I knew, and a few new ones...then, went to the Circle of Janus meeting to find out the last minute stuff about Incon..which is now under a month away. ugh, Ugh, busy month.
Saturday, was Bday at Aunt and Uncle's...was good, spent time on their trampoline..>I probably ought to get one of those for exercise capability...was sore a little afterward. Then, last night, watched the finale for "The Sopranos", and the premiere for "The Dead Zone", and liked Dead Zone a bit..
Have been wanting to get "The Dead Zone" seasons 1 and 2 on DVD for a while..but, the $40+ price tag has me a bit taken aback..well, in looking around, I saw that they were CHEAP at http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com . I've never shopped there, but both are $45 combined...with free shipping..and, at Amazon, that's almost they're price a piece..so, the temptation to pick them up is great...along with other DVDs I want...only thing holding me back is that I have no review of DDD...anyone out there used them before?
