As Tom already posted, todays was a poignant "Girl Genius", and if you aren't reading it, you really should.

Anyone who has read it, should realize the significance of this one. If not, it's still..touching. Either way, I can't recommend the series enough.

Re: Shortpacked -- I hadn't thought of the commercials in that way. I considered it the characters aware that they were characters being broadcast to us and speaking thru the fourth wall from the inside perspective, after being zapped to us through various media repeatedly through the years, to endorse one way of reaching us. Something similar to the unstoried characters popping up in Netflix ads.

I can be downright unimaginative sometimes. Gotta work on that.
