(no subject)

I am now a paid extra in a commercial. :-)

Heard about it a week or so ago, one of the film people I've met needed extras, as they were doing a commercial for a "Lost" parody, for the chamber of commerce or such for the city of Marion.

8:00pm last night, showed up in Marion (and as I told someone else...after watching the Final Destination movies this weekend, while working on my paper...after FD2, that makes fun driving on the interstate). Anyway, I showed up, and was thanked heavily, as only 1 other man showed up..along with 4 women. We went to various places around town, walking, running, looking scared..trying to watch out for "the Others".

One "action" shot of me and the other guy running up a set of steps, then running down, scared to death...he jumped a last step, and rolled..ended up scraping his knee.

Yup, an Injury on set, and it wasn't ME. :-P

So, all said and done..as soon as the check arrives, I'll be considered a paid extra. Of course, the payment doesn't really cover the gas to get there and back..but, ah well. It was still fun, and eventually I'll have a Youtube link here for it.

S'far as classes...I think I'm pretty close to ready for tomorrow's final...then, Wednesday through Friday, I'll have my Sports final..then, Sunday, my Non-Profit, and other final. Then, done for this semester.

In July-ish, my summer session starts, and it's the class that ALL of my teachers have been telling me I need to take, as that seems to be where my main enjoyment is. Exhibitions.

*heh* It was a lot of fun..and, also makes sure that a few of these people know who I am (well, the fact that lately they seem to have a problem with people not showing up..that also helps).

I'm currently on information overload on it, and it was only 3 and a half hours, for what'll likely be 3 minutes or LESS. :-P

The contacts alone, for future shots..I heard that the movie I was in in 2001 is close to finished (post-production insanity), so yeah...all sorts of fun.

Starship II isn't done? Wow. I really want to see it. Hey, I was in the opening scene, and I still have the Xena costume :).

*heh* Nope, not done yet, and they didn't use any of the footage in this latest trailer.

I did hear that it's much much closer...I'll have to ask Mark next I talk to him.

None of the footage? There's some great cameo stuff in there. I hope there's more great cameo stuff I haven't seen.

I didn't see any of the Xena footage in the latest, but then, I think they used some of that footage in the last few trailers. :-) Oh, there's a LOT of great cameo stuff. I'm just hoping that there is an unknown thing of premiering it at Incon this year.
