Ear troubles..

I appear to have a minor ear infection..I've battled such before, but the main difference THIS time is that I don't have the insurance to cover a Dr.

So, any home remedies or things I may not have thought of? There are more creative people than I out here...thoughts? :-)

Thanks, I may have to check that out. $49 sounds better than my last dr. visit w/o insurance.

The real nice thing is no appointment,
if the open you just walk in and sign in.
First come first serve. And it a real "long"
trip to a pharmacy :-)

You might want to try a hair dryer blowing in your ear. I know it sounds odd, but I heard about it years and years ago, gave it a try, and it worked more than once.

Will give that a try...though, I did pick up Swimmer's Ear drops...we'll see if that helps.

My Granny swears that you can cure an ear infection by putting a little urine in your ear.

I've personally never tried this, but you asked for home remedies...

:-) I did indeed ask, and thanks for the advice.

NOt quite to that point yet, but in a few days, if it still hurts, ya never know..of course, I might try to go for the chemical composition first. :-P

Not sure if they still have a campus clinic - or if they ever had a campus clinic, but when I was in college my first week had to go because of stomach problems and the cost of "ZIP"... so check out those resources you might have and not even know about.

btw - I have not forgotten you, if you are coming to COJ will have the printed paperwork - and will be mailing the information to your professor with luck today. man this week - can I get a refund because this was not the ride I had paid for with my MULTIPASS.

Thanks...actually, not a campus clinic I have found, but I did find a thing that costs a fair amount for insurance. It's a pain.

And, thanks...no problem on time, as I'm pretty sure hte prof is hit, just like the rest of us, with finals. So, I've not even gotten my stuff for 2005 calculated yet. I'll be there, but I'm fairly sure I'll be there for Concom, then going off with a few of the others. :-) As far as a week for a ride, yeah...this has been a weird week.
