So, I went to take the test..

And, just after I'd started it, my browser closed.

No idea how, why, or whatever..but, it closed.

So, I immediately tried to contact my professor, couldn't, so tried to contact the head of the Dept. He's out..talked to the secretary for the dept, who advised me to send an e-mail to the professor, as well, and that it was good I'd tried to call him immediately, as that showed I tried to contact right after it happened.

In THEORY, this grade doesn't have to be in til tuesday...so, I have time to take it/make it up, but if I just went in and tried to take it again now? It'd flag me, and I'd get a zero.

I'm no longer hyper-ventilating, but the SHOCK of adrenaline that went through my system just left, so I feel like I'm REALLY going to crash asleep now.

Prof has my e-mail address, and my phone number. At worst? This now means I'll take *3* test on Sunday.

*shakes head* I really do hate computers sometime...more than that, I hate IE, which is the "preferred" browser for class stuff.

No panic, no panic...await what they say, THEN panic, if need be. :-)

You would think they'd have a better system to compensate for shitty Microsoft BS like that. I'm sorry, but college is stressful enough without having to be at the mercy of software from a company that almost seems determined to charge higher and higher prices for shittier and shittier systems.
