Grrrrr....
May. 6th, 2007 07:29 pmOk. My own personal rant. Well, I think, honestly, it's one I've said before.
Parents who haven't taught their kids that theaters are "quiet time" should be smacked.
Many parents likely have..but, I always end up next to the kid that is ALWAYS talking, asking questions, repeating the words he sees onscreen, or generally is just "chatting". Showplace has a neat statement about "It's not your living room".
Yup, and with current prices? Patrons can get a little irate. :-P
As far as Spiderman 3?
Eh...it was ok, very predictable, very pretty..yeah, folks who have seen the others should (or likely will) go see this one, but, great cinema it is not. And, I'm a fan of CGI...when you can't tell it's CGI...and, unfortunately, the Spider series are, um...too heavily reliant on it. Yes, very pretty..and yes, some of the side story was good (though, I'm SORRY, I laughed at the "bad boy" Peter Parker)..but I do think this one was a bit too reliant on the "JUMP SHOCK", you know, thinks like this?

So, go see it, see what you think, post about it, comment about it. Whatever. :-)
