per_soloSo, after three weeks of feeling cursed, because I haven't been able to get my new couch up here, there was finally a break in the clouds, and Mom and Dad risked it to come up and deliver said new couch.
After having figured out that it measured right to go in the spot I wanted, we found out that the measurements weren't 7X8, but 8X7 (subtle difference)...so, we ended up re-arranging the living room...I'm not sure if this works best yet, but I'll soon find out how it works.
I should really take this lamp down and pitch it...I don't use it, and it's falling apart..it's one of the things that was left to me when Echo moved...
Hmmm...wonder if I can keep my "chair"...naw, probably just as good an idea to give it when I get rid of the old couch...
Yes, had no one to take the old couch yet, so it's currently residing where my dining table was, and the dining table is disassembled and living in the bedroom. I'll bring it back out as soon as I get rid of the old couch...
Watching "4400", very cool...recording Six Feet Under, Recording Dead Zone, and watching Dead Like Me tonite..
Tempted to sack out on the new couch, and fall asleep for a bit...ah well, I'm rambling at this point. Night.

There is a place now called indyfreecycle - it is a trading list for items that we no longer want and folks might see something and take it off your hands. Just a suggestion.
