Timing is everything.

per_soloSo, today, called, and then sent an e-mail to my adviser. This was to be followed up with an on-campus visit tomorrow, if I didn't hear anything.
I heard back. :-)
Turns out my advisor's kid goes to pre-school with the lady who is in charge of RA's kid. This woman just gave birth not too long ago. Adviser is going to look into this for me, and let me know about my options. I am to check back with her in a week. (Though, as today is a shorter week, I'm going to check next Monday)
That gets a glee!
Now, as to events and on campus opportunities this summer...that is all shut down, until next semester.
Grr. But ok. That there also explains why I've not heard from my Internship adviser (which I knew when Royalcrow sent in my hours for this year so far..which I should add hours for this last weekend to).
So, a judicious kick in the ass helped today. Add to some other surprising news, and wow. This has been a neat/good day. :-)
