But, for those who haven't, let this take you back to a magical time, as, for a half an hour, you feel like you're back in the 80's again. Yes, 80's cartoon themes.
I gotta say, I'm having way too many flashbacks to count..some I don't remember (never got into), but, I'm proud to say I remember a LOT of these. And, had to go verify (quality ain't the greatest..), that yes, that is an appearance by Captain Lou Albano.
I feel a need to play Nintendo, and pull out a crapload of other toys. What surprises me? There are a bunch in here that are variants, and I really don't remember some of those. Weird.
(and while posting this, I heard just a snippet of music..and said "that can't be Charlie Brown, right??)
Yes, it was.

Date: 2007-07-21 04:35 am (UTC)Sadly, I own the Mario Brothers show on DVD. It came out a year or two ago, as well as Legend of Zelda. It's a lot dumber than I remember, but still amusing to ... well, let my nieces and nephew watch.
I remember several of the shows. I was a regular viewer of He-Man, She-Ra, Heathcliff, Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, Mario Brothers, Zelda, Turtles and The Real Ghostbusters. (I'm still amused JMS did work on that one.)
I was sad to not see Jem, Kidd Video or Gummi Bears. Still, that was an amusing memory refresher. :)
