So, yesterday, my Volts light came on in the car.

Recommendation per the book? Turn off radio, AC, pray, and get it in to look at ASAP.

So, earliest I can get the car in is Thursday, at 1:00 (that's when my mechanic has the time).

So, right now, the Volts need looked at (which I'm told could be a few things), I still need the EGR valve looked at/replaced, and the Fuel Sensor needs looked at..it's been reading a constant full for a long while.

One of the things I miss, by being a FT student..I at least could pay for part of my car bills when crap came up like this. As is, I won't have cash I could put toward that til next month, so I'll be playing leech just a little more.

It's one of those little things that would set me off for a good while, not too awfully long ago. Right now, however, it's just a "well, crap..ok, how do I make this happen".

The good, however, is that taking it in will be after my exam today (which I'm studying for), and after my assignment, the marketing plan, is due tomorrow. So, after those two, all I have left is a case study for next week that is due, and then the final for Tourism, and then the last exam for Exhibit Marketing. Timing-wise, this works for this week.

In other news, after today's excursion into academia, I have episodes of 4400 to catch up on. :-P And a computer I'm trying to fix that lost the hard drive..I'm kinda confused on how that happened, but ok, am trying to format and reinstall again.

And, that's my morning in a nutshell (help, help, I'm trapped in a nutshell).

Eeeep!

Hope that goes well - and that it turns out to be nothing.

(One time, my Check Engine light came on while I was driving home from grad school round 1, and I went straight to the Saturn dealership. They plugged in their computer and found out that a sensor had malfunctioned, and was pretty much telling the engine to work harder than it had to - as if it was going 90mph up a steep hill, rather than 65 on a flat highway.)
