Keeping Busy...
Aug. 7th, 2007 09:22 amOk. As I asked one friend, I'll ask here.
I've got a database, in Microsoft Access, that I'm working on.
One of the end recipients is using a Mac. :-)
So, what format do I need to save it in so that he can view it at least on his Mac?
Another convention I can and will attend, end of September, is a SMALL one. IE: 200 attendees. That will be good.
The angsty post that threatens to come out now and again? Is back under wraps. :-P The main point, that bears repeating now and again, is that no matter what some people RL may think, I am not responsible for your issues. Your problems are your own. To blame me for your mental issues, and to continue to do such, is to avoid responsibility. This is something I understand far better than most, and really far better than most would credit me for. So, do not try to blame me. That's the easy out. Instead? Try looking at just how and what in your life is fucked up. Look for the way to fix it, because without actually seeing that the problem is closer to you? You'll never fix it, and you'll remain a shell, for a long time. And that not only cheats you, but it cheats everyone around you.
It is by no means easy. It never has been, it never will be. But, it's the only way we actually evolve, and improve. If it were easy, it'd be called something else.
Now, focusing on the things *I* can affect. :-) I've e-mailed a few things out, am gathering information so that my part of next weekend goes beautifully, and with a minimum of fuss, and make it easier on my "co-workers", as the case were. I will be ready for next weekend.
And it'll be fun.
