Anyone who knows my background knows why I'm so absolutely curious on the "Across the Universe" movie. That may well have to be a litmus test of sorts on my compatibility with people.
You know..if upon seeing the trailer for said movie, someone responds "Why would you want to see THAT??", that's a sign that my instincts are right on being incompatible. :-)
Anyways, I just heard this on the radio today, and it brought a smile. No, it's not Beatles, but it IS McCartney. So, just enjoy.

Date: 2007-09-11 11:07 pm (UTC)Truth is, I'm cautious about _Across the Universe_. The Beatles part sounds neat, the musical part sounds neat. But I've seen a LOT of Vietnam era movies. It was a messed up time, and there are only so many times I want to go through those feelings.
Heh. I think we do OK on media compatibility these days. I think your tastes are broader than mine. And my tastes are way broader than SB's, so there's a spectrum. You tend to learn which things you like I'll probably hate, and I do the same with SB :).
