Busy weekend...well, part busy. Friday, got together to watch movies with friends (Office Space and Dogma), and left most of the way through Dogma, as it was close to midnight...Saturday, SLEPT, a LOT...then went to a different gathering of friends...then found myself up til 3:00am...then, yesterday, went to the Evanescence concert....GOOD concert...EVA was VERY good, and had some decent stage presence...the opener bands (There were *3* of them) were ok...the first (Cauterize) was pretty ok...I barely caught the next 2 bands, so I can't tell you the names. And, Evanescence was very good...and the audience enjoyed it.
$2.00 for a can of coke...damn. Glad I didn't go to buy Alcohol...and, $25 for a T-Shirt...man, maybe I'm just noticing these things now that I'm getting older...
On another note, I replaced the "Legend" DVD that got lost at the old place...so, it was good to see that movie again. Well, and it went from constantly being $22 to $15...my mom said "If you were going to get somethign, what would it be?", I told her I'd been wanting to replace that, and she gave me cash to go treat myself. So, I can't complain...
And, for those of you who are Legend fans, you really, REALLY ought to check out the director's cut on that...with a different soundtrack...the movie flows better. I'm not sure how much better to describe it than that...
Today is going to be fun/interesting...company meeting day. And, I'm still tired from the weekend...today's company lunch is a theme lunch..."Fair Days". Corn Dogs, Corn on the Cob, Lemon Shake Ups, and a few other things...and to think, I've had Corn Dog cravings lately...I think this might kill em. ;-P
