Highlander: The Source?

Apparently, this "sci-fi original" is premiering tonight..

At 9:00.

I'm not upset to say that I'll be watching the finale for Burn Notice, instead.

But, the old "highlander" geek in me is mildly curious.

*nod* I kind of assumed it would be, but the curiosity kicks in and says "but...you remember how good the show was, right?"

Then the other half of my brain kicks in with "Highlander 2!"

Don't do it! Bear recorded it and we watched it last night after watching the Resident Evil duo. We kept seeing zombie references in Highlander, which was the ONLY thing that kept is mildly entertaining for the first 1/2 hour. After that, we wanted the time back in our lives that we wasted watching it (it was like a train wreck...just couldn't keep from turning it off, however it just kept getting more horrible as it went along). Believe me, Don't do it!!

Ugh. That was my concern with the show.

They should have left it with the finale for the show...that was a good finale.

I'm just scared to see it because I'm afraid (not that it'll be bad...I'm almost expecting that) that they did something damn stupid and killed off one (or both) of my fave characters (see icon).

The Highlander franchise has a depressing tendency to kill off all the characters I like (SPOILER) like Connor and Richie and leaving ones I can't stand (like Amanda and Cassandra) alive. (END SPOILER)

Well, of course. Both actors seem reasonable, and even THEY would eventually go "Oh come on, be realistic..no one is going to believe THIS"

Methos, that he looks older, Joe that the plot is this ridiculous. :-)

And, well, yeah..you have the good point of who they kill versus who they don't. *shakes head*

So wait, since I've been working story problems tonight, you're saying there's only 3 worthwhile minutes in the entire movie? :-P

It'll be avoided...after all, I managed to avoid Highlander 2 for years.
