Nowhere Man.
Sep. 23rd, 2007 04:55 pmSo, in between making sure I know my Math, I've been watching a borrowed TV show.
Nowhere Man, done in 1995, is a show about a man who has had his life erased. And is trying to find out why, and how to get it back.
It's neat, watching shows like this, and seeing the influences of other shows..it's really easy to see the X-Files influence in this show.
The lead actor, Bruce Greenwood, is someone I don't recall having seen in other shows. And, this is a show that if you watch too much of, you'll see paranoia and conspiracy everywhere. Considering I've already been told I'm a little TOO paranoid, I should probably minimize exposure to the show. But, so far, I'm considering it pretty decent.
Also, at some point, I want to watch the episode of Millenium that Jeffrey Donovan was in, and at some point, catch his appearances in Witchblade. That was a decent show that I only saw a few eps of.
And, need to get back on Math. So far, I've gotten the concepts that we are going over..this is mainly repetition to keep the knowledge in my head. Need to find a similar method for ASL. We have a test tomorrow, which I don't feel good on, but we'll see.
So, how is your weekend going? Weird times feel ahead...not sure how better to state or describe that one.
Have been talked into helping Starbase this year..running/co-running their operations. An area that I was told "Well, you've run a con, so you should know how to run ops, right?", which isn't exactly the case. :-P I know the basics, but not the actual run, so this will be another chance to learn more about the types of shows I want to produce.
It is with SBI, however, so I'm not so sure on that one. Last year, I helped stage manage..as SBI is produced way differently than InCon (though, there are similarities that I think neither would appreciate), but SBI has always, to my knowledge, been more about the "Stars"...whereas InCon, while I've been trying to help, is more with the attendees. The synergy (and wow, how I hate that word at times) of getting good guests, that will interact with attendees, and both groups have a good time.
So, that should be interesting. Especially given that right now, the next 5 months seem...not quite up in the air, but in that state of flux, that I'm not quite sure what will happen next.
*grabs the popcorn* That's usually not a bad thing..surprise and variety lend an air to life..but, I'm evolving into a partial control freak (only partial...free will has to be involved in a lot of things), so I'm trying to relax just a tad, and not let my brain go "AHHHHH" on any of it. :-P
Ah well, enough of that. Back to math!
