per_soloSo, recently I've gotten into "Fanmixes", this is where fans create soundtracks, either themed to characters, or themed to shows in particular.
This is similar to what I've done before, creating the soundtrack to Homicide, finding the KMN mixes, when those were updated ages ago.
It's also had me going through my music recently, finding what to pitch, what to keep...giving me ideas for if/when the LJ album project happens again. :-) Have had a few songs make me want to include them, so that will be fun, as normal. If that happens? Will try to post here, it's always fun to see what music others put together..usually, it is a representative moment in time...or a theme. I know that last year, mine ended up being a partial theme. I feel it was one of the better ones, as left to my own devices before that, it would have been an entirely dark album.
So, I'll actually have to try to put it together, and see how my mind shapes it this year. But, I've found some neat fanmixes...one that is themed for "River" on Firefly...those tend to be fun, with some strange sound, and some chaotic.
