per_soloToday was the Thanksgiving gathering for a bunch of friends, and it was a fun day. Confusedjew, sorry, I saw you say you were sleeping and that you'd closed LAST night, somehow missed that you were doing the same today.
Lots of friends, many whom I haven't had time to connect with and hang out with. Helped Koala and Desi with a deck project, which was a bit of fun (I'm not the typical male..Power Tools only tend to cause a "AHHHH" moment for me :-P), and made the "brownies". Well, the brownies became a cake..wow. Ok. The cake was ok (except for one who dislikes Nuts..must remember for next time), and saw pics from Halloween..a video from the wedding last may. Even think I got the right files that were needed for the file restore from a while ago.
At one point, mentioned the movie Electric Dreams, which I just recently found in AVI, and WISH that a DVD release were forthcoming. As is, it made me find a few videos. There are 2 culture club songs I really like, and both are on that soundtrack. Anyways, here are a few videos I found on Youtube. Enjoy. :-)
Afterwards, had a friend tell me she has decided to go to college. Am going to try to find a few places at her location of choice, (Arizona), and see how I can point her in the direction she wants to go in. General Studies, which is actually not as bad as some have said..it'll get her in the door, and finding what she wants to do.
Tomorrow, doing more Extra Credit for Algebra, practicing signs so I have a shot at the test on Monday, and helping parents pack up a great-grandparents place..putting my old couch that my sister has into storage, and...dunno.
Today was a great day. I miss my friends, quite a bit. And yes, Desi, need to figure a time to just randomly do lunch. :-)

glad you were able to get together some friends you hadn't seen in awhile though, that's always good. :)
maybe next year...
