Yes to voting in election, No to Dating.
Nov. 2nd, 2004 11:02 amI've come to a few conclusions recently.
One is that today is the election..if you haven't already, then stop what you're doing, and go VOTE.
The second is that I'm not meant to date for quite a while...no, that's not a cry for help (tho I know a few people will take it as such), but it's an honest approximation that when I date, things go bad.
I'll start going to see a Psychologist soon, for problems I've had for a good long while now. I get the odd feeling that dating would make me worse, for some of those problems.
I trust people, to a fault at times. If I'm told that things are bad, well, I can't help but want to believe that. but my perception of people, and how they actually are, can be vastly differed at times. Of course, that rule can also apply to myself as well.
Rough times behind, slightly rough ones ahead, but I'm better in my head than I've been. And that sometimes makes pain worth it.

Sometimes just talking and re-examining where you are and where you want to be helps you get back on track.
As for trusting people to a fault, there's nothing wrong with this trait. It's part of a loving nature and plays a part in your passion and draws people to you. You just have to be careful about protecting yourself.
