Wish I knew..

Why this introduction, the music in particular, pulls to me. Not quite sure I can explain it.

When I first saw the Battlestar Galactica mini-series, I was "eh" with it...it had some neat ideas, and I liked the updating...the 70s version seems SO camp nowadays..but, I never made time to watch it.

Last year, a friend who edits the Battlestar Wiki loaned me Season one..and after the finale, I HAD to see Season 2. At this point, I've seen one early episode of Season 3, but am now waiting til I can watch them all at once.

It's a neat series, and a neat take on things...some new ideas, and some haunting parallels to wars. There are characters you love, characters you dislike, and characters SO gray that you'd swear you knew them in real life.

If you get a chance, I recommend checking it out.

I watched the first season, and part of the second if not almost all... I haven't kept up though. I need to catch up!

I've missed 3rd season completely, and heard great things about it. And got to see Katee Sackhof at the convention last year. :-) And, given that the next season is the last, I'm really curious where they've gone.
